Cole and Kallen sat opposite each other in the room.

He was silent.

" Oh." Kallen spread her hands." Cole, why are you here? Is your lightsaber broken so quickly?"”

" Of course not. I don't know why I walked to the door." Cole would not lie at this time." Then I came in to see you."”

"Really?"

"It's true."

Hearing Cole's answer, Kallen's face turned red for some reason. Although Cole saw it, he could only pretend not to see it.

Cole thought to himself, I'm not a weird uncle. I don't like lolis. Although Cole had to admit that Kallen definitely had the potential to become a great beauty, and when she blushed just now, she was very attractive. However, Cole did not think that anything would happen between them. Perhaps he was still running away.

There was another silence." I never asked you why you stopped being a Jedi Apprentice and came here.”Cole broke the silence in the room.

"I don't know either. One day, Master Yoda found me, and I became Master's disciple. That's about it." Kallen thought for a moment and said.

"But my machines are quite sensitive. It was just like how a Jedi Knight felt about a lightsaber.”

"I roughly understand." Cole nodded thoughtfully.

Talent, talent, Cole could not help but think of Anakin.

The following conversation was very natural and harmonious, as if time had returned to the days when Cole was making lightsabers.

When Cole left, Beissman's expression was very strange. He looked like he wanted to say something but hesitated. Cole wanted to laugh when he saw him. In the end, Beisman patted Cole's shoulder, as if he was entrusting something to him.

Cole was still a little confused when he walked out of the maintenance room. He realized that he had temporarily lost his target.

It was impossible to continue following Qui-Gon, so he could only follow his master to do some cultivation or go on missions alone. The days would return to normal.

"The Speaker is about to be re-elected, so things are even more complicated.”Ace sat on a chair in the office while Cole stood in front of him.

"Yes, Master."

"Nabu's situation isn't looking good, which is why I don't want you to go.”

"Then, Master, what can we do?”

"We won't do anything." Ace looked into Cole's eyes." A Jedi Knight must control his emotions. You're not up to the mark yet, Cole.”

"I'm sorry, Master." Cole found it hard to control his thoughts whenever he was involved in the plot.

"Alright, I'm going to do something now. You haven't trained in a long time, right?”Ace retracted his legs, stood up, and ruffled Cole's hair. "Go back and train well." With that, he turned around and left the office.

"May the Force be with you, Master.”

-------------------------------------

To do one thing? That should be…

"Good afternoon, Ann." Cole said hello to Anakin, who was wandering in the corridor. "What are you standing here for?"

"Good afternoon." Anakin looked up at the door. "Qui-Gon told me to come here for the Jedi test.”

As expected, Cole thought to himself.

"Do you need me to bring you in?"

"That would be great."

Cole led Anakin into the meeting hall, bowed to the masters, and stood aside.

Anakin stood in the middle of the circular room, surrounded by twelve masters, and of course, Cole. Under such circumstances, Anakin's fear and uneasiness about his future arose. When these Jedi Masters looked at him, he could feel their sharp gazes. They seemed to not only see his appearance, but also his heart.

Cole had a deep understanding of this. The first time he faced these masters, he was not much better than Anakin.

Master Windu was holding a display screen in his hand. Anakin could not see the front of the screen, but he had to speak of the image that was constantly changing on the LCD screen.

"Spaceship, cup, spaceship, fast airship.”Anakin accurately described what was shown on the screen.

Yoda and Windu looked at each other. No one could tell what Yoda was thinking from his green face, but his squinted green eyes were shining.

Yoda bent his left index finger forward slightly." How do you feel?"”

"Very cold."

Yoda thought for a moment." Are you afraid?”

"I won't." Anakin replied.

Yoda blinked at the answer, and his long pointed ears tilted forward slightly. "We can see through your heart." he said calmly.

"You have to pay attention to your true feelings.”Windu said to Anakin.

Ki-Adi-Mandy: "You're thinking about your mother.”

Anakin nodded." I miss her.”

"Yes, are you afraid of losing her?" Yoda asked.

Anakin was a little impatient and asked warily,""What does this have to do with the Jedi?”

Yoda looked at him with wide eyes."This is important. Fear would lead people to the dark path. Fear would lead to anger and hatred, and hatred would become pain.”

Yoda paused." I can feel fear in your heart.”

……

Qui-Gon still insisted on taking Anakin as his disciple. Cole had already expected this, and Qui-Gon's stubbornness made him helpless.

----------------------------

For the next few days, Cole was immersed in training. He realized that his Force was increasing rapidly, far beyond what it was before.

After thinking for a while, Cole's lips twitched. I'm starting to develop too…He's going to enter a period of rapid growth, so Cole trained even harder.

One morning, Cole, who had finished packing, was preparing for training when the communicator beside him suddenly rang.

Ace's image appeared on it. Cole noticed that his master's expression was a little serious." Come to my office."”

"Yes, Master."

------------------------------------

Qui-Gon died, and Obi-Wan became a Jedi Knight just like in the original novel. He also completed his master's mission and took in Anakin as his disciple.

Cole looked at Obi-Wan's lonely face and didn't know how to comfort him. Jedi were relatively indifferent to emotions, but that didn't mean they didn't exist.

--At the funeral

Qui-Gon's figure gradually disappeared into the flames. Although Cole did not agree with some of Qui-Gon's actions, he was a great Jedi Knight, and Cole respected him from the bottom of his heart.

Everyone at the funeral looked very solemn.

Cole was wearing a Jedi robe and a hat as he stood in the crowd. At the front were Palpatine and Queen Amidala, also known as Padme.

When Cole turned his gaze to them, Palpatine seemed to have sensed something and turned back. A kind smile appeared on his face.

Cole was about to respond when Palpatine turned his head back, his eyes seemingly fixed on Obi-Wan and his apprentice.

Although he had lost Darth Maul, he had obtained what he wanted the most.

A smile crept onto the thin lips of the Sith Monarch.

The day of settling the debt was not far away.

What the hell…I'm already speechless about what I wrote…

The next volume would probably have less plot content.

The update this week was uncertain, but it would be done next week.
