A blue ferret was running restlessly in its cave.

Since the day before yesterday, a terrifying human had been chasing it and snatching its food. No matter which hole it went out from, it would always see that hateful human waiting for it.

That human was very fast, and he had almost been caught by him several times. If it wasn't for his nimble movements and small body, he might have been skinned and eaten by that terrifying fellow.

Blue Ferret shuddered at the thought. Even in its dreams, it would often be woken up by the pair of hands that grabbed it.

However, he still had to go out.

The food in the storage cave couldn't last long. If they didn't go out to get something to eat, they would starve to death even if they could escape from that human's vicious hands in a few days.

The worst thing was that he couldn't go out at night. He could not see anything at night, and it was almost impossible to find food just by relying on his nose. Moreover, there were terrifying nighthawks. He did not want to become their snack.

"I'm finally out."

Seeing a blue ferret carefully peeking out of the hole and looking around, Hank revealed a sinister smile.

"Little baby, don't worry. I won't catch you. Once I catch you, you'll be free, right? How can I bear to do that?”

Madam Mary looked at Hank, who was talking to himself, and shook her head.

It seemed that the young master was too resentful about certain things. Once he was touched, he would become uncalm and almost become a pervert.

Blue Ferret sniffed carefully.

Great, there was no smell of that terrifying human. Although there was the smell of other humans, they might have been passing by, right? There were a few ripe nuts over there. As long as he could pick them, he would have enough food for today.

Thinking of this, the Blue Ferret cautiously took a step forward.

Now that he had climbed up the tree, that human still had not appeared. Perhaps he was tired of eating the fruits here and had lost interest in himself. His days of suffering were over.

The happy Blue Ferret quickly crawled to the front of the nut and stretched out its claws.

With a bang, the tree the Blue Ferret was standing on was kicked heavily by a human who had rushed over.

Caught off guard, the Blue Ferret was knocked down from the tree. Then, the human quickly climbed up the tree, picked the nuts, and jumped down.

It was another unfamiliar human.

It was just a little bit more, just a claw's distance away. His food was snatched away at that distance.

The blue ferret was so angry that it wanted to fight the human in front of it with all its might, regardless of the huge difference in size.

This was too much. Although the human from two days ago was despicable, he wasn't that overboard. He would come out when he ran under the tree.

Although it was blinded by anger, it finally regained its senses when it saw a pair of big hands coming towards it. It squeaked and turned around to escape.

Half an hour later, the poor Blue Ferret was panting in its cave.

This human was even more terrifying than the human from two days ago!

He was always able to block her way home. Fortunately, he managed to pass through a few bushes before returning to his nest.

There were a few times when his hand almost grabbed her tail.

Thinking of the feeling of its tail being swept by those terrifying hands, the Blue Ferret's fur involuntarily stood on end.

I'm not going out. I won't go out today even if I'm beaten to death.

"I'm back."

Hank walked back to the observation point with a smile.

"I don't think it will dare to come out today. This is efficiency. Alan must be busy chasing around like a dog every day. He had no brain at all.”

"You can't blame him for that. He doesn't have that much experience of being chased. How can he be compared to Young Master, who fully understands the psychology of being chased?”

Madam Mary replied with a straight face.

"Nonsense!"

Hank jumped up like a chicken.

"I don't have the experience of being chased! I'm smart! Alright, I'll give in to her."

Madam Mary's expression didn't change as she looked straight at Hank.

"Alright, I can't beat her."

Hank lowered his head and muttered.

"But, isn't it efficient?”

"Of course."

Madam Mary looked at the dejected Hank and couldn't help but laugh.

"It's all because Miss is older than you. If Young Master worked harder, he might be able to catch up to Miss in a few years.”

"Forget it."

Hank waved his hand.

"Let's continue to observe."

On the second day, the Blue Ferret continued to move out, unwilling to give up. It carried out its own adventure of finding food.

However, everything was like yesterday. When they were only a claw away, the food was snatched away by the human.

Fortunately, the blue sable was still complaining that he was too hesitant yesterday. Otherwise, he would have been able to get food.

It turned out that the human had done it on purpose!

He was using this trick at all the exits.

If he was the same age as him, he would definitely bite him to death, suck his blood dry, dig a hole under the tree, and bury him as fertilizer.

Unfortunately, the difference in size between them was too great, so she could only hide in the cave and eat the stored food. Then, she prayed that he would be like the last human and go somewhere else after two days and stop playing with her.

Three days later, Daley brought Alan and Hank, who looked a little haggard, to meet up at the observation point.

"How was it? Was the trial fun?"

Hank patted Alan's shoulder and asked mischievously.

"Passed smoothly."

Alan snorted.

"The Blue Sable should have run out of food."

Daley ignored the two people who were talking and continued talking.

"I've already prepared the anesthetic. Next, we'll just have to set up a small scam.”

They had already finished their rations yesterday.

The poor Blue Ferret was really hungry. It was determined to go out and have a bite even if it was caught.

As soon as it approached the cave entrance, it was horrified to find that other than the scent of that fiend, the person who had captured it some time ago had also returned.

What should he do?

The Blue Ferret, who was deep in thought, suddenly saw a shadow walking near the entrance of its cave.

It was the guy who had been catching him for the past few days!

After making this judgment, the Blue Ferret could not help but shrink back into the hole.

Then, the Blue Ferret smelled a fragrant scent.

That person was eating a handful of nut seeds.

That's my food!

The Blue Ferret's eyes were almost burning with fire.

The little bit of rationality that was left in its body dragged it along, and it barely managed to control itself from rushing out.

After a while, that hateful fellow slowly walked away. For some reason, a few seeds fell from his hand.

What was that? Food?

The blue ferret even suspected that it was seeing things, but its nose told it that it was food.

Judging from the sound of that person's footsteps, he must have gone far away.

Should he go out to eat?

After hesitating for a while, Blue Ferret gritted its teeth and rushed out.

'Whatever, I'm starving.'

When it bit the seed, the blue sable was so happy that it almost cried.

After happily eating the two seeds, the Blue Ferret suddenly realized that there was a person sitting at the entrance of its cave.

He had never seen that person before, but since he was there, he could not go back.

The terrifying smell approached from behind again.

Blue Ferret did not need to turn around to know that it must be the scoundrel who had been chasing after him for the past few days. That evil aura, that terrifying smell, he would never forget it even if he died.

With a squeak, the Blue Ferret quickly ran towards another cave entrance. However, after running a few steps, it found that it was dizzy and its legs were weak.

He was dead.

This was the only thought the blue sable had before it fell asleep.

"I finally caught it."

Hank and Aaron carefully held the Blue Ferret in their hands and passed it around.

"Congratulations on completing the mission."

Daley smiled at the two of them.

"During this period, I did something wrong. Please understand.”

"I wouldn't dare."

The two young men bowed to Daley.

"Thank you, Mr. Daley, for your guidance these past few days. We have learned a lot.”

Hank said sincerely.

"You don't have to be so polite."

Madam Mary said with a smile.

"Mr. Daley, are you interested in accepting the task of training them again?”

"I'm afraid not."

Daley looked at the two young men's fervent gazes.

"To be honest, after I earn this bounty, I plan to participate in the Level Three Martial Artist exam.”

"Ah, that's something that can't be delayed.”

Madam Mary and the two teenagers revealed regretful expressions.

"Then I wish you success."

"Thank you."

"Hank, how do you plan to deal with this Blue Ferret?”

After bidding farewell to Daley at the entrance of the hotel, Alan asked his friend.

"I want to give it to someone and let it know that my pursuit of it these few days was just a piece of cake.”

Hank revealed a sinister smile.

"Poor little guy, you will fall to the point where you don't even dare to have nightmares.”

"Forget it."

Alan retorted.

"Do you think it is you? He was always causing trouble. Miss will definitely treat it well."

"Humph."

As the two quarreled, night gradually fell.
