The convoy moved slowly on the plains.

The sun was high in the sky, and the scorching sunlight shone on the convoy. The coachman cracked his whip, and the horse that pulled the carriage puffed as it tried to run forward. There were no wild beasts around, only endless grasslands. Occasionally, there would be a goshawk circling in the sky, but after a while, it would disappear. Looking at the unchanging scenery in all directions, one could not help but suspect that the carriage's advancement was just an illusion. In fact, the entire team did not move at all.

"Larry, how long will it take to reach the next town?”

A rough voice came from the carriage at the front.

"Boss, at this speed, we can reach Laisi Town in three hours.”

The driver replied loudly.

"Oh."

The coarse voice paused.

"Then let's rest for a while and give the horses some food and water. The damn weather is too hot. Those guys also needed to drink some water. Otherwise, they would not be able to earn any money if they were to perform listlessly tonight.”

"Yes, boss."

The coachman stopped the carriage. The horses snorted happily and nibbled on the grass on the ground.

Seeing the convoy stop, the people in the carriages ran out and walked around on the grass to relax their legs.

The coachman called his companions to carry a few buckets of water from the carriage behind the convoy and pour them into a few basins. He also brought a few basins of food and walked to the last few carriages that were tightly covered. He lifted a corner of the thick cloth and put the water and food in.

"Wait a minute."

Just as the coachman was about to put the water and food into the last carriage, a burly man with a full beard walked over.

"Boss, it has been hungry for three days. If we don't give it food, it will starve to death.”

the coachman said carefully.

"Let me see."

The burly man lifted the cloth and took a look before retreating.

"Just give it water. It's still very energetic.”

"Yes."

the coachman replied in a low voice.

Larry, I'm not criticizing you."

the burly man said helplessly.

"You're too soft-hearted. Yes, after the guys were obedient, they had to be good to them. However, if they were disobedient, they had to be punished. Only when they were willing to be obedient could they be given benefits. Otherwise, they would never be tamed.”

"I understand, Boss."

Seeing the coachman's insincere expression, the burly man shook his head and walked away helplessly.

After a while, the convoy continued to move forward.

At dinner time, a convoy drove into Laisi Town and stopped at the side of the square. A big man was led into the mayor's residence by the townspeople.

After a while, the burly man returned to the convoy. After that, many people got out of the cars and began to hit wooden stakes and set up tents. A few beautifully dressed girls and a clown distributed flyers in the crowd.

"Come, come, everyone, come and take a look. The Pompei Circus has come to your place today and will perform for everyone tomorrow night. There were beautiful magic shows, gorgeous flying people, funny clowns, thrilling knife-throwing performances, and a beautiful circus!”

The children in the town were happily running around the clowns, while many young people were surrounding the girls, pretending to receive flyers. However, their eyes could not help but glance at the girl's breasts and big legs. After a glance, they looked away in panic.

After the people had set up their tents, the last few carts that were tightly covered were pulled into the tents. The group of boys who had been following the carts dispersed in disappointment.

After dinner, the circus members gathered in the big tent for a meeting. After the leader instructed everyone to do what they needed to do, he went to the tent with the animal cages with several animal trainers.

The canvas covering the cages had been pulled open, and a few of the cage doors had been opened. When a few kittens and puppies saw their owners come in, they pounced over and rubbed their owners 'legs affectionately. A bear also walked over clumsily and rubbed its owner's face with its furry face.

There was only one big cage that was tightly locked. There was a big iron ring hanging in the middle of the cage, and there was a leopard lying inside.

"Alright, let's start training."

The regiment commander ordered.

Under the instructions of their owners, the animals practiced their familiar movements.

The animals that had finished their training moved closer to their owners and shared the delicious food that they had been rewarded with.

There was nothing in front of the leopard, only a basin of clear water.

With a snap, a whip accurately lashed onto the leopard's body. The leopard let out a low growl and stood up, glaring at the beast tamer who was holding the whip. However, after standing for a while, the leopard fell back to the ground.

When the beast tamer saw the leopard sit down, he swung his whip again and lashed it hard on the leopard's body.

"Leif, show it."

The beast tamer set up a circle in the air. A wolfhound easily jumped over the circle and got a piece of meat.

The beast tamer swung his whip again.

At first, the leopard was unmoved, but when it saw the leader bring a piece of fresh raw meat, its stomach could not help but growl. The leopard stood up with a low growl and slammed its body into the iron cage, causing it to shake non-stop.

However, the beast tamer was still unmoved. The whip mercilessly hit its body.

Knowing that it could not break through the iron cage, the leopard lay down helplessly.

The Alsatian jumped over the circle again and again, and the leader threw pieces of meat into its mouth.

The Alsatian whimpered happily and jumped even harder.

The leopard watched all of this silently as he was whipped a few more times.

When the wolfhound ate the tenth piece of meat, the leopard finally couldn't help but stand up shakily. With all its strength, it jumped towards the circle hanging in the cage.

In the beginning, the leopard couldn't jump over the circle accurately. After all, it was too hungry and wasn't familiar with the game.

Every time he failed, he would be whipped a few times.

Finally, the leopard managed to jump over the circle.

The whip stopped, and a piece of meat was thrown in front of the leopard.

The leopard tried its best to pick up the meat and ran to the corner to taste it carefully.

However, a piece of meat was not enough to fill his stomach.

Driven by the whip and hunger, the leopard passed through the iron hoop again and again.

"Alright."

Seeing that the leopard was half full, the regiment commander gave the order to end the training and left the tent.

The animals went into their own cages. The breeder closed the cages one by one and walked out of the tent.

The leopard quietly shrank in the corner of the cage, tidying the wounds on its body. No one knew what it was thinking.

The next day, the circus held a grand and successful performance in the town. Every participating animal received a rich reward.

Seeing other animals eating delicious food, the leopard's nose twitched, but it still curled up in the corner.

As the days passed, the leopard's initial resistance turned into obedience.

The leopards now no longer had the unruly look in their eyes. When they heard the sound of the whip, they would unconsciously shrink back. They would also rub their noses against the hands of the beast tamer to please him. Even if there was a ring of fire in front of them, they would jump over it without hesitation.

This time, the two villages were quite far away, so the circus decided to spend the night by a lake. The moonlight shone on the lake, and the lake water flickered slightly under the night wind, as if it was blinking. On the other side of the lake was a forest. It looked very large and could not be seen at a glance.

After dinner, everyone continued with their routine training.

After so many days, this was the first time the leopard had lived in an uninhabited area. A cold light suddenly flashed in his eyes.

However, when the whip sounded, the leopard obediently lowered its head and walked out of the cage.

The leopard seemed to be especially excited today, and all its movements were completed very well.

After a routine fire-jumping exercise, the leopard was rewarded with a few pieces of meat. After quickly finishing its meat, the leopard lowered its head and slowly walked towards the cage.

After walking to the cage, the leopard suddenly jumped past the breeder and jumped into the water.

"Bastard!"

The beast tamers could not react in time. They did not expect that the leopard, which had been trained to be very obedient, would actually run away.

By the time the regiment commander rushed over, the leopard had already disappeared from his sight. Only the waves rippled, telling the regiment commander that something had jumped into the water not long ago.

Seeing that the leopard he had spent a lot of money to buy had disappeared without a show, the leader scolded the few beast tamers fiercely. He decided to go to the Adventurer's Association to issue a notice to capture the leopard in the next town, hoping that someone would catch it.

"If you catch it, you must starve it for eight to ten days and break its legs so that it will never forget.”

The regiment commander thought fiercely.
