After returning to the Elysian World, ten days later, Tathagata gathered a group of Buddhas to preach the supreme Dharma in the Pure Land of Saha.

When the preaching was over, Tathagata suddenly sang,"" Namo, my master, Amitabha."

Everyone woke up from Rulai's Buddhist proclamation and looked at Rulai to see what he had to say.

Tathagata then said," It is time for Buddhism to flourish. In the three realms of heaven, earth, and man, the underworld is the place where the reincarnation of all living beings in the three realms of the human world is controlled. It concerns hundreds of millions of living beings. We Buddha are merciful. How can we stand by and do nothing? "Moreover, our Buddhist Sect will save all living beings. We should enter the netherworld and do the deed of merit to help the people escape the sea of suffering as soon as possible! I wonder who is willing to bring glory to our Buddhist Sect and the well-being of hundreds of millions of living beings to enter the netherworld?”

After Tathagata finished speaking, the scene fell silent!

He made it sound easy, but who among the Buddhas present didn't know? The Hell of Reincarnation was called reincarnation, but to those ghosts, it was equivalent to entering the Hell of Reincarnation. They would probably never be able to reincarnate to the Western Paradise. Moreover, whose territory was Hell Samsara? That was the territory of the Sorcerer Tribe, and Ancestor Netherworld River's Asura Tribe was eyeing it covetously. Who would be willing to go? At that time, if he was not careful and was schemed against, he might not even be able to enter the reincarnation cycle. Even without these, the Netherworld was a place where ghosts gathered and the three worlds were filthy. The difference in the environment was incompatible with the Buddhist Dharma, and the people of the Buddhist Sect might not be able to live in peace there.

When Tathagata saw that the Buddhas were silent, he frowned slightly and said,""Our Buddha is merciful. The Reincarnation Hell is the foundation of all living beings in the world and the place that maintains the survival of all living things. Now that the pearl is covered in dust, we still need our Buddha to cast a spell to help.”The Buddhas below looked at each other. Dipamkara was resting with his eyes closed. The other Buddhas were also doing what they were supposed to do. No one spoke. Gautama cursed in his heart,'A bunch of slippery mud.'”

When no one spoke, one of the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattvas stepped forward and said,""Namo, my master, Shakyamuni Buddha, Ksitigarbha is willing to go first!”

In an instant, everyone looked at Ksitigarbha. Even Dipamkara and the others seemed to have woken up. They all rushed to kowtow to Ksitigarbha and said,"Buddha is merciful."

Tathagata smiled and was very happy that Ksitigarbha was so appreciative. Previously, when he was discussing with the two Saints, he felt that only Ksitigarbha could take on this important task. He did not expect Ksitigarbha to take the initiative to come out and make Rulai's work much easier.

Speaking of this Ksitigarbha, one had to mention his origins.

Ever since Ancestor Minghe founded the Asura Clan, a Saintess had been born. The first Saintess of the Asura Clan was a person with great wisdom, great perseverance, and filial piety. The Saintess could not stand the filth of the Asura Clan. She left the Blood Sea in anger and was reborn into the Six Paths. She turned into a woman and dream-walked to the underworld one day. She found her mother suffering in the underworld and vowed to free herself from the suffering of all living beings in hell. Later, she was reborn as a man and became the king of a small country. She became a disciple of Amitabha Buddha, the leader of Buddhism in the Western Paradise. She cultivated in Jiuhua Mountain and finally obtained the Sarira Golden Body. She went to the Western Paradise and became a Bodhisattva under Amitabha. She was called Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

Tathagata said happily," Thank you for your help, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. My Buddhist army will be here soon to lend you a hand!"”

Ksitigarbha nodded slightly and chanted the name of Buddha. With a flash, he disappeared.

Yin Mountain was the place where thousands of ghosts gathered. The Yin Qi was murky, but it was suddenly swept away. A monk wearing a Vairocana crown and a kasaya appeared in front of the ghosts. He held a staff in one hand and a lotus banner and pearls in the other. He stepped on a golden lotus and came barefoot. Everything was prepared. All the ghosts were startled by Ksitigarbha's attire and behavior. When they felt the comfortable and warm feeling in the Buddha's light, the tens of thousands of souls who were in a mess just now knelt down on the ground in a daze.

When Ksitigarbha arrived, Buddhist light shone brightly from his body. Sanskrit sounds curled up, and the light illuminated the entire area! "Good, good!" he shouted softly. Only when all sentient beings are saved can they achieve Bodhi. If hell is not empty, I swear not to become a Buddha.”

"I read that in the past, there was a Buddha called the King of Burning Light. After the death of the Buddha, I lived in the land of mortals in the image of the Dharma. There was an immortal in Mount Jutelo who was good at Taoism. I have seen all living beings being annoyed by ghosts, just like those old people. At this time I made this oath: meet good knowledge, seek the method of submission. So he went to Mount Khutelo and told the immortal. The immortal was delighted. Within three days, he taught me the principles of foresight and eliminated evil. He also summoned all the evil spirits and subdued their hearts according to the teachings of his teacher. He ordered Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva to recite the Ksitigarbha Sutra and save the suffering of all living beings. A ball of light of virtue fell from the sky above Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's head. A burst of seven-colored light instantly erupted from Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's body, appearing divine and merciful!

Ksitigarbha took this opportunity and finally transformed into six Bodhisattvas under the Great Merit Oath, wanting to do the matter of transforming into the six realms.

These six Bodhisattvas were:

(1) Tantuo Ksitigarbha."Tantuo" was a kind of head-shaped pagoda. Its image was that it held a head-shaped pagoda in its left hand and a dew seal in its right hand. It was specially used to save the living beings of the Hell Dao.

(2) Ksitigarbha the Pearl. He held the pearl in his left hand and formed the Dew Seal in his right hand. He specialized in saving the hungry ghosts.

(3) Treasure Seal Ksitigarbha, holding a staff in his left hand and a Ruyi Treasure Seal in his right hand, specialized in aiding the beast path.

(4) Ksitigarbha, holding the Vajra Banner in his left hand and the Fearless Seal in his right hand, specifically aiding the Asura Dao.

(5) Remove the barrier of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, hold the Buddhist staff in your left hand, and make a wish seal with your right hand. Remove the barrier of the eight sufferings for others and specially help the people. The so-called eight sufferings refer to the sufferings of birth, old age, illness, death, resentment, separation, inability to seek, and the excessive sufferings of the five yin, which are affected by the truth of suffering.

(6) Riguang Ksitigarbha, holding the Ruyi Pearl in his left hand and forming a Dharma mudra with his right hand, illuminating the five decline of heaven and man (the five kinds of decline of heaven and man when they are about to die) to eliminate their distress and specially help the Heavenly Dao.

Ksitigarbha's great wish had been made, and the merit had fallen. However, the three worlds had caused a shocking change! Just as Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva made his great wish and bestowed merit from the heavens…The Sages immediately sensed it, but the Four Sages of the East were all smiling. Even the Grand Supreme Heavenly Lord of Dao and Virtue's face, which had not changed for ten thousand years, revealed a smile. Sect Master Tongtian, who had always been straightforward, sat on the cloud bed and laughed as he spat out two words,"Idiot!"”

On Wen Dao Mountain, Heaven's Pole was even more laughing, which puzzled Zhao Gongming and the other three." No wonder Ksitigarbha has only been a Bodhisattva all his life. His cultivation is so stagnant that it's difficult to advance any further. It's because he blocked his own path. He really brought this upon himself!"”After laughing, Heaven's Fate sent a jade talisman to Athena of Heaven Mountain." I, Huang Dao, should move."”

As for the Two Sages of the West, their faces immediately fell. His mouth was filled with bitterness. Do you know why? It turned out that the Six Paths of the Nether World was formed by the physical body of the Ancestor of Sorcery, Goddess Houtu, and entrusted it to the old, weak, women, and children of the Wu Tribe. With the great merit of Houtu's reincarnation and the merit of the Wu Tribe's people maintaining the order of the Nether World, as long as the Wu Tribe did not get involved in those troubles and stayed in the Nether World wholeheartedly, the Wu Tribe would never go extinct and would never have any future troubles. It was much stronger than the Demon Tribe, which was not doing well today. Just now, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva had made a great wish to cross the netherworld. Wouldn't the Sorcerer Tribe have to cross the river as well? Therefore, once Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva made this great wish, Buddhism and the Sorcerer Tribe would be irreconcilable enemies, and Goddess Pingxin, who was transformed from Houtu True Spirit, would definitely not let it go. Although Lady Pingxin had been trapped in the Nether World for two Cultivation Tribulations, she had the great merit of Samsara to assist her. Strictly speaking, she had one foot in the threshold of the Divine Path. It was not an exaggeration to call her a Half-Saint. If such a powerful person went against the Buddhist Sect, the Buddhist Sect would have a lot to worry about in the future.

Besides, Minghe's Asura Tribe also lived in the Nether World, which belonged to the Path of Asura of the Six Paths. If he wanted to cross the Nether World, wouldn't he be exterminating the Asura Tribe? How could the Netherworld River let this go? With his wisdom, the trouble he would bring would probably be even more terrifying than the Sorcerer Tribe. The Buddhist Sect would really not be able to live in peace.

More importantly, Ksitigarbha's vow was not realistic at all. The Six Paths of Reincarnation in Hell was an important part of the Way of Heaven. Ksitigarbha alone could not transcend the void. Even if all the Buddhists went up, they would not be able to do so. Even if it was empty, what awaited you was probably not the merit reward of the Heavenly Dao, but the heavenly punishment. However, once Ksitigarbha made this vow and was acknowledged by the Heavenly Dao, it was impossible for him to complete it. From then on, he really could not become a Buddha. Moreover, his cultivation would still remain stagnant. For him, the loss was far greater than the gain.

Sigh! Zhunti Jieyin also felt a little regretful. He had only wanted to get involved in the Nether World, or at least have some say in it. He had not expected that Ksitigarbha, this hothead, was so ambitious and ambitious. He had made such a great wish without considering the cause and effect. Although he had made great contributions to Buddhism, he had also made a great enemy for Buddhism, which completely deviated from their original plan.

At this point, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva had already made his wish. If he did not fulfill his great wish, not only would Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva be punished by the Heavenly Dao, but the entire Buddhist Sect would also be implicated. Jieyin Zhunti had no choice but to do his best to fight against the Wu Tribe and the Asura Cult to open a bloody path for Ksitigarbha to enter the netherworld.
