What did Cthulhu look like?

As a member of the Great Old Ones, Cthulhu's rough appearance had some features of an octopus, a bat, and a human. His entire body was green and his body was extremely huge. It was said to be as tall as a mountain. Its soft head had countless tentacles, its body was fat and had scales, its forelimbs were soft and claw-like, and on its back was a pair of tattered wings that seemed to have not grown.

Whether it was Lovecraft or Dreis, they had all kinds of horrible descriptions of the creator of this mythological system. In theory, positive words such as beauty, elegance, and luxury had nothing to do with it.

But…

"You…are His Majesty Cthulhu?"

Rope looked at the petite figure on the throne in disbelief. For a moment, he felt that his three views were overturned by the scene in front of him. The shock almost made him forget that he was in front of a true god.

She had a delicate face, a cold expression, long silky hair, a curvy body that held the Coral Scepter, and a pair of white silk legs that seemed to have some kind of demonic nature.

Rope swore that she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

However, there was no doubt that the person sitting on the throne was a seventeen or eighteen-year-old 'human' girl.

"Is there anything wrong? Oh, this shen power…"

The girl lowered her head, her emotionless eyes shining with a deep blue divine light. Her voice was bone-chilling.

"Looks like Dagon did something unnecessary. That stupid fish brain of his didn't even think about how I would let the precious Chosen One go crazy just because he looked at my true body.”

You're not an octopus yourself…Rope complained in his heart.

However, he could not say this. If he did, his entire family would die and the hearse would drift.

"As you can see, this attitude is just to make you more accepting.”She stood up and opened her palm. "After all, humans are visual creatures. In order to win your favor, this change is only natural.”

"What do you need me to do?”

Rope straightened his mind and pulled himself out of his peerless beauty.

"I was only lucky enough to come here because I happened to study the forbidden art of the R'lyeh text. To you, I'm just a slightly special human, right?”

Why would a god, especially an evil god from Cthulhu Divine Branch, look for a human?

Rope couldn't think of anything.

"A little special? That's not 'a little' special."

Cthulhu's lips twitched. He wanted to smile, but it was a scary expression.

After several attempts, she gave up. Unfortunately, she was not familiar with the human body and could not make complicated facial movements.

"Rope, do you believe in the necessity of fate?”

Was it the necessity of fate? Lope mulled over this sentence. Dagon had said the same thing to him just now.

"Do you mean the inevitable trend in the development and change of things?”

Rope thought for a moment and said. " Although coincidence and necessity have their own arguments, I personally think that necessity is the real logical cause and effect.”

It was like a child throwing a banana peel, and a rushing office worker stepped on it and slipped. Whether it was for children or office workers, it was an accident, but when combined, it became inevitable. This was also a kind of causality.

"That's right."

Cthulhu nodded and drew a trace in the water with his fair fingers. The azure divine power turned into a dazzling river of starlight.

" When we reach our level, we will know that necessity is the foundation that tightly ties the Multiverse together. Just like how you obtained that 'system', it was decided millions of years ago. And now, you're in front of me. It's also fate.”

The specks of starlight gradually turned into traces of Lope's voice. In front of the true gods, nothing could escape their gaze.

"Rope, do you know the full name of your so-called 'system'?”

" The Supreme Deity Substitute System.”

Lope wasn't surprised that Cthulhu knew that she had a system. If she, as a true god, couldn't even see this, it would make Lope think that it was just so-so.

" Looks like I don't have to explain further. I know some details about that thing. It was set up by the gods at the birth of the Multiverse to help mortals become true gods. This is the first time it has appeared in the real world.”

Cthulhu lifted the hem of her dress, and her white stockings stepped on the stone steps as she walked towards Lope.

" Even though you and I agree with the necessity of fate, the decisions you make next will affect your future. No god or person can influence your decisions. That's because that's the path of a future True God. Even I, who summoned you here, only gave you a simple suggestion.”

Another barrage of sugar-coated bullets made Rope feel smug.

Was there anything more exciting than a true god telling you that you would become a god in the future? I don't think so.

But the more it was like this, the more Lope felt a sense of crisis, as if the evil god in front of him was as gentle as water and eroding his body.

The beautiful green-haired girl stood in front of Rope, her hands wrapped around his neck, and whispered in his ear.

" Rope, are you willing to join the Cthulhu Celestials and change your goal of becoming a deity to become a Great Old One?”

!!!

It was clearly a gentle voice, but when it fell into Rope's ears, it was like the angry thunder in July, shaking his entire soul.

Calm down, calm down! Sweat beaded on Rope's forehead.

Cthulhu's words had a huge impact on him. As long as he nodded and agreed, it was very likely that everything would be smooth sailing in the future, and he would eventually become the Great Old One Ruler that shook the starry sky.

However, it was impossible for a pie to fall from the sky.

"Your Majesty, forgive me for being blunt, but what benefits can this bring me now?”

Rope hesitated for a moment and gently pushed away the green-haired girl who was sticking to him.

" Your words are too ancient. The Great Old Ones are great, but I've only just started. Even traveling in the world is fraught with danger, and I'm even more afraid to talk to you about becoming a god.”

It wasn't that Lope didn't know how to appreciate favors, but the identity between the two of them made him suspicious.

One was a god, and the other was a human, yet the god had done something to please the human. Even ghosts wouldn't believe it if you said there was no conspiracy.

Cthulhu closed her eyes and smiled. This time, her expression was much more natural.

"Cunning little brat, are you sure I won't use force to threaten you?”

"I wouldn't dare." Rope said in a humble manner.

"It's just that with your status, Your Majesty, threatening an insignificant human is too demeaning.”

That's right, Lope was certain that Cthulhu wouldn't dare to use force.

Whether it was pulling him from the real world into the divine kingdom or welcoming him with the deep divers and subordinate gods, these actions revealed the meaning of 'fawning' everywhere. If he really fancied her, wouldn't it be easier to transform into a Deep Diver? Why would he have to transform into a beautiful girl to rope her in?
