Green Love
The continuous drizzle, thin and dense, fell in the green kingdom, enveloping everything in the deep and distant fairytale land. The faint morning fog in the mountains was like a thin layer of gauze, forcing a pleasant cool air. The flowers, grass, and leaves were washed away. The rain finally stopped this morning after a few days of rain.
On the muddy mountain path, a mother goat slipped over. She was carrying a large bamboo basket on her back and holding a sickle in her right hand. She stood on the path on the mountainside, her eyes wide open. She looked around to see if there was any fresh grass. In her house, there were a few little goats waiting to be fed. These poor little guys lost their mother as soon as they were born. She couldn't bear to see them starve to death, so she brought them to her home. Now, the little ones were finally able to eat some grass, but their bodies were still not strong enough to walk to the meadow. The mother goat had to cut the tender grass and go home. However, the rain had not stopped for the past few days, and the tender grass in the house had long been eaten up. The mother goat's heart broke as she watched her beloved babies baa in hunger. As soon as the rain stopped, she hurried out of the door, hoping to find some grass for the goats.
"Hey, where can I find fresh grass?”The mother goat looked around anxiously. Suddenly, her eyes lit up as a furry snowball rolled away from the edge of the forest. Looking again, there seemed to be a patch of tender grass at the edge of the forest in the distance. The mother goat was so happy that she ran over quickly. Almost at the same time, they arrived at that place. It was indeed a patch of tender grass! The mother goat didn't say anything. She stood up, waved the sickle in her hand, and bent down to cut the grass.
"Hey! You can't cut the grass. I saw this grass first!" A voice brushed past his ears. The mother goat turned to look. It was the mother white rabbit. She was panting heavily, and her entire body was still emitting heat. Her snow-white coat was covered in old grass balls, and her legs were covered in mud. She looked like she was in a sorry state. There was a rope tied around her waist and she was holding a small knife in her hand.
" The mountain's air grass, cut it and go find it again-" Mother Goat said as she cut the grass quickly.
"You…you're so unreasonable!" Mother White Rabbit said angrily.
"Who cares about her? Let's cut her first!" Mother Goat said in her heart. She stepped on her feet, held a knife in her right hand, and held the grass in her left hand. She cut the grass with all her might. In an instant, there were piles of young grass neatly piled behind her. As she cut, she turned around and her heart skipped a beat. Mother White Rabbit stood there in a daze. Her big eyes were filled with tears, grievances, and sadness. After a while, she sighed softly, turned around, and walked away with her head lowered.
The mother goat's heart suddenly felt sour, and her throat choked. She thought silently in her heart,"If it wasn't for the child, she wouldn't be so sad. Look at how fast she was running just now, but now-hey! How can I only think about my own child?”Therefore, she shouted at the departing figure of the white rabbit's mother,""Hey! What's going to happen to your children when you're gone?”
"Don't worry! "I'll go find them again." The sound of Mother White Rabbit's departure could be heard from afar. The mother goat's eyes were always filled with tears and the sad look of the mother white rabbit. She looked up at the sky and was shocked."It's going to rain again! Moreover, there were no good pastures nearby. Would Mother White Rabbit still find tender grass?”The mother goat suddenly remembered something. She bent down and cut the grass even faster. Very soon, this patch of tender grass was cut. She quickly tied up the grass and ran to Mother White Rabbit's house on her back. Before she entered the door, she heard the cries of the little white rabbits coming from the inner room. The mother goat rushed in three steps and two steps. A few little white rabbits cried and squeezed at the corner of the bed. When they saw the mother goat come in, they stopped crying. The mother goat held them in her arms and asked softly,""Oh, my children, what's wrong with you? Be good-don't cry-"
A little white rabbit cried and said,"Mommy went to find food for us... and she hasn't come back for so long." "Auntie Goat, we're hungry!" After saying that, she couldn't help but cry.
"Good child, don't cry, don't cry. Auntie brought you food.”The mother goat quickly distributed the tender grass to them. The little white rabbits wolfed down the food.
"Don't be anxious. Eat slowly. Don't choke. There's still a lot of grass here." The mother goat's eyes were wet. Suddenly, she thought of her children. They must be starving too. She had to find something to eat for them before it rained! The mother goat had just left for a while, and the mother white rabbit came back with some tender grass on her back. As soon as she entered the house, she saw a large bundle of tender grass at home." Hey, children, where did this grass come from?”
"Yes!" The little white rabbits rushed to tell their mother. Her tears blurred her eyes." She gave the tender green to my children. What will her children eat? They must be starving!" Thinking of this, she quickly loaded the grass into a small cart and quickly pushed it to the mother goat's house.
The little goats were hungry at home and kept calling for their mother. When they saw the white rabbit mother send the tender grass, they were overjoyed and happily ate while smacking their small mouths."Miemie, it smells so good! It smells so good!" Mother White Rabbit was about to leave when Mother Goat came back with some tender grass on her back.
"Thank you, Mother Goat!" Mother White Rabbit said sincerely.
"I also want to thank you, Mother White Rabbit!”the mother goat said sincerely.
"We're sisters, so there's no need to be so polite!”They looked at each other and smiled.
"Look! The sun is out!" A little goat cried out.
"Look there-there's a rainbow!”The other little goat also cried out.
"Our green home is even more beautiful!”
