Returning to America
The next morning, Steve reported to Howard's office as required.
But when he got there, Howard was not there yet.
A young blonde sitting behind a desk told him that Howard would be here soon. Then, she introduced herself. Her name was Lorraine, and she was a private first class.
" All the women in America owe you a favor," she said as she stood up and walked toward Steve.
" Since they're not here…" Before Steve could react, Lorraine leaned over and kissed him.
Steve struggled for a moment, then gave up and kissed her back.
Steve actually didn't want to kiss Lorraine. He wanted to kiss Kate, but Kate was standing right in front of him!
Cater had already come in. As soon as he entered, he saw Steve kissing a b * tch.
The coldness on her face was enough to form a layer of frost.
She turned around and stormed out of the office. Steve followed closely behind her.
"Agent Cater!" Steve shouted," Wait!"
But it was useless. Kate didn't want to talk to him at all.
"She's jealous, which proves that you have a chance.”Smirre looked at Steve teasingly. This guy was too arrogant.
Steve sighed and returned to Howard's office to continue waiting. He replied,""This is not a good start.”
"If Cater isn't interested in you, she doesn't care who you kiss.”Smiler chuckled.
"You're right. I'll get Kate's forgiveness.”Steve said.
"A bootlicker will end up with nothing.”Smirre sneered and said in a low voice.
"What did you say?"
"No, you must have heard wrong."
A few minutes later, Howard Stark finally appeared. He took Steve into his laboratory, where technicians were busy unwrapping various weapons.
Some were installing futuristic machines, just like the ones Steve had seen at the exhibition tomorrow.
Edward ignored the others and walked straight to a corner of the laboratory that was less crowded. There was a set of skintight clothes on the table. Steve tilted his head and watched. What exactly was this?
" Miniature steel wire mesh on the sleeves," Howard explained as he pointed at the arms of the uniform.
" The abdomen is a titanium alloy plate, wait…"
Steve's eyes widened when he saw Howard pick up a gray material on the other side of the table. He had a battle suit that he had specially designed.
Following Steve's gaze, Edward said,""It's a carbon composite, flexible, fire-resistant, and heat-resistant. It can block ordinary military sabers, but it can't block bullets or Hydra's stuff.”
Howard looked at the weathered shield in Steve's hand and walked to a cart of half-finished shields. Some of the shields were equipped with small equipment, one was equipped with a light, and the other seemed to be camouflaged.
"I've thought of a few improvements. But in the end…" Howard pulled the tarp off the cart." I think it's better to keep it simple.”
Steve saw a mighty shield. There were no instruments, lights, or hidden parts. It was light, balanced, and indestructible.

Steve cautiously reached out and touched the smooth surface of the shield. He then flicked it, and the shield made a crisp sound.
Howard looked at Steve and said,""It's a hundred times harder than steel but only a third of its weight.”
Steve picked up his shield and hung it on his arm as he listened to Stark's explanation.
"It can absorb all vibrations. The bullets were like cotton balls.”
Steve smiled. That was it.
As soon as he turned around, he saw Kate walking towards him. Steve was about to step forward to explain, but Kate picked up a gun and pointed it directly at Steve. Without any explanation, he fired, as if he wanted to vent all the anger he had just suffered.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
After three consecutive shots, the bullets that hit the shield all fell to the ground and deflated.
Steve hid behind the shield and looked at Cater with a dumbfounded expression. Howard also retreated with a frightened expression.
"Looks like it's true." Then, he put down his gun and walked to the other side with a smile.
"Looks like your life will be very miserable in the future.”Smirre gloated.
Howard was still in a state of shock. Fortunately, he didn't provoke this girl. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to pick up girls in the future. It was simply painful.

"I have a blueprint for a combat suit.”Steve handed Howard a blueprint.
"Whatever you say, buddy." Howard accepted the blueprint and created it in three hours.
Steve put on the combat suit he designed and led his Roaring Commando Team to destroy the Hydra base.
Meanwhile, the plane from America also stopped at London Airport.
Smirre was brought into the plane by Howard and began to fly to America.
