Chapter 32: Setting Up
In the meeting room, the police chief, Shen Dai, the special forces chief, Li Lifeng, and the deputy chief, Su Xi, were sitting in their respective seats.
The only difference was that only Su Xi had a green folder in front of the three of them.
"Brother Su, do you know why Consul Muto has called us here?" Shen Dai asked Su Xi.”
"Chief Shen, if you don't know, how would I know?" Su Xi sat there and smiled.”
"Who doesn't know that you're the favorite of Consul Muto? Tell me a little so that I can be prepared.”Shen Dai said with a smile.
Li Lifeng sat there without saying anything, but his ears perked up. He also wanted to hear what Su Xi had to say.
Su Xi glanced at Li Lifeng and said,""Director Shen, this is not good. Consul Muto will be here soon!”
Shen Dai saw the way Su Xi looked at Li Lifeng and immediately understood. He thought that Su Xi had some words that he did not want Li Lifeng to hear, so he said,"Mr. Su, it will be a while before Consul Muto arrives. Let's go outside and have a smoke!”
"Alright then!" Su Xi and Shen Dai stood up and walked out of the meeting room.
Li Lifeng was left alone in the meeting room.
Li Lifeng sat there and glanced at Su Xi's folder. He looked at the door again, then stood up and walked to Su Xi.
He quickly opened the folder and took a look. There was nothing inside.
He frowned slightly. Just as he closed the folder, the office door was pushed open.
Zhuang Xiaoqian walked in. She looked at Li Lifeng and said,"Division Chief Li, your office is calling. Hu Dahu is looking for you. He says it's urgent!”
"I'll go over now!" Li Lifeng nodded and walked out.
Zhuang Xiaoqian followed behind Li Lifeng.
At the door, Shen Dai and Su Xi were smoking and chatting.
Su Xi saw Li Lifeng walk out and said,"Division Chief Li, Consul Muto will be here soon. What are you doing?”
Li Lifeng glanced at Su Xi and said,"I'll take this call and be right back.”
"Then hurry up, don't let Consul Muto wait for you.”Shen Dai said.
"Yes, sir!" Li Lifeng agreed and left in a hurry.
In less than two minutes, Li Lifeng came back, followed by Muto Tomo.
The four of them entered the meeting room, and the Wei Nation military police were guarding the door.
After they sat down, Muto Tomo said,""Everyone, I want to tell you a piece of good news. Su Jun has obtained a list of the underground factions. Our mission today is to split into four groups and capture all the people on this list!”
"Don't worry, Consul Muto, we'll definitely complete the mission!" Shen Dai immediately said.”
"Very good! Su Jun, take out your name list!”

Shen Dai immediately stood up and opened his arms."I don't mind, I don't mind! Feel free to search!"
Muto Tomo looked at Li Lifeng.
"Consul Muto, it's not a problem to search him, but I suggest that we search Officer Su as well." Li Lifeng said.”
"I have no objections. Search me too!" Su Xi quickly said.”
He opened his arms and stood there.
Muto Tomo waved his hand and three military policemen walked over to search the three of them.
The other military policemen began to search the meeting room.
