At the long tables of the four academies, students of different grades were excitedly discussing the scene that had just happened.
In the staff table, the headmaster, Armando Dippet, stood up and waved his wand, causing a few loud fireworks to attract everyone's attention.
"Prefects," he said in a low voice,"bring the students from the Houses to the dormitories immediately!”
The prefects rose at once from their long House tables.
"Gryffindor, come with me, take the stairs on the right!”
"Hufflepuff forward!"
"Ravenclaw, assemble at the second tower.”
"Slytherin, leave through the side door.”
Moody turned back to follow the Gryffindor procession as they left, and before he left he asked a senior beside him,"What about our dinner?"
"Probably they'll have the house-elf send it straight to the dormitory.”The senior shrugged." Although we've always hoped to have dinner in the dormitory, I bet that no one wants to leave now.”
"What will they do to Twain?"
The senior was stunned.
"You know that Twain?"
Moody muttered to himself.
Not only did they know each other, but they had also beaten up Sirius together!
The seniors reacted as well. Moody might have met Twain on the train.
In turn, he began to ask Moody for all kinds of news about Twain.
He was very curious about the new student who had pulled out the Sword of Gryffindor from the Sorting Hat.
Moody would have started bragging under normal circumstances, but he was not in the mood.
The principal asked the prefect to take away all the students, but Twain was left behind.
God knew what they would do to Twain.
The Slytherin line was the last to leave the Hall.
Looking at Tom, who refused to move for a long time, the Elven Prince sighed and comforted him,""You can't help Twain by staying here. Maybe you can go back and talk to Professor Sluggers.”
Tom took one last look at Twain, who was standing in the middle of the hall with a sword in his hand, and turned to follow the Slytherin students.
At the staff table, Headmaster Ammand Dippet was discussing the sudden appearance of Gryffindor's sword with the three Headmasters when the voice of Vice-Headmaster Dwayne Goshawk rang out.
"Principal, we forgot one more thing.”
Ammand Dippet looked at his vice-principal in confusion.
"What is it?"
"Twain is not the last student to be assigned to the academy. There is still one student who has not been assigned to the academy.”
With Dwayne Goshawk's reminder, Dippet noticed that there was another student in the middle of the auditorium who had not left.
Rubeus Hagrid, who had half the blood of giants and looked like a small mountain.
Hagrid, who had been forgotten by everyone, was now looking at everyone with a blank expression.
He didn't know why everyone had suddenly left, and the dinner they had agreed on was nowhere to be seen.
Dippet looked at Hagrid with a headache.
Under normal circumstances, all they had to do was get Hagrid to put on the Sorting Hat, confirm which House he was going to, and then call the prefect to come and take him away.
However, the problem was that they were not sure what the Sorting Hat was.
The appearance of the Gryffindor sword had been shocking enough, and if something happened to Hagrid while he was wearing the Sorting Hat, it would be very troublesome.
He turned to look at the three principals. It was obvious that they had the same worries.
"I don't think there's a need to go through the Sorting Hat for this student. Dwayne, how many new students are there in each of the four academies?”
Dwayne Gorsak immediately realized what the principal wanted to do.
"Not counting Twain, there were a total of 30 new students who completed the division, including 11 Hufflepuffs, 8 Slytherins, 6 Ravenclaws, and 5 Gryffindor.”
said Dumbledore at once.
"Since the Sorting Hat assigned Twain to Gryffindor, then he is a member of Gryffindor.”
said Dippet, interrupting Dumbledore.
"Alright, Albus, we're not talking about Twain now, but this freshman named Hagrid. I remember that he's one of the five freshmen you're responsible for visiting, right?”
Dumbledore guessed at once what the headmaster was up to.
"Are you sure you want to do this?"
"Albus, I know that there has never been a precedent in Hogwarts history where a house has been determined without the Sorting Hat, but you must understand that the fact that this half-giant child is standing here is already an exception to Hogwarts 'tradition.”
Dumbledore really couldn't argue with that.
Dippet turned to look at the other three deans.
"Which academy is willing to accept this student?”
Sluganz was the first to shake his head.
What Slytherin valued most was pure blood, and Hagrid was clearly not suitable.
The second person to reject was the vice-principal, Dwayne Goshawk.
Hagrid didn't look very smart, and he was half giant.
The giant race had nothing to do with the word wisdom.
Only Theosius Scamander and Dumbledore were left, and they exchanged glances.
Thesius had wanted Hagrid to come to Hufflepuff, but there were eleven new students in Hufflepuff this year, twice as many as Gryffindor and Ravenclaw.
The other three academies might have objections to adding another student.
Dumbledore glanced at the confused Hagrid and took the initiative to say,"Hagrid's got no lack of courage, let him join Gryffindor.”
The other three principals had no objections.
Hagrid's destination was thus decided.
Just as they were about to inform the Gryffindor prefects to come and collect them, Sam, the Hogwarts castle gatekeeper, burst into the Great Hall.
Sam had a bad reputation at Hogwarts. He often let his hair down and took pleasure in intimidating students.
Most of the professors did not like this person.
However, Sam was loyal to Headmaster Dippet. As a gatekeeper, that was enough.
"Three reckless first-years, they snuck out when all the students were back in their dormitories, and I caught them red-handed, come out, you little bastards.”
Moody, Ella, and Angelica entered the Great Hall under Sam's supervision.
With three students being arrested, the four deans had a strange expression on their faces.
Headmaster Dippet cursed Sam in his heart for being blind. He could have grabbed anyone, but he had to grab the two most promising girls in this batch of freshmen. Wasn't this slapping the faces of the vice-headmasters, Dwayne Goshack and Thesius Scamander, in public?
As for the fat Moody, Dippet glanced at Dumbledore.
"Ten points from Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and tell the prefects to come and take them back immediately!”
