In the boundless darkness, Lu Ye's spaceship was sailing silently.

He looked at the darkness outside the glass window in a daze. He didn't know how long he had flown for, as if this was a journey without an end.

As the dim screen lit up again, the spaceship finally moved.

"We are about to reach the ruins…"

Lu Ye quickly got up and walked to the screen. The location of the spaceship was displayed on the screen. It was slowly approaching a huge plate.

"Beginning identity verification…"

The mechanical notification sounded again, and then a beam of light suddenly lit up in the instrument beside the screen.

"Verification failed! Verification failed!"

Lu Ye looked at everything in front of him in a daze. He suddenly thought of something and hurriedly placed the crescent stone that the City Lord had given him into the pillar of light.

"Beginning identity verification…"

Hearing the notification again, Lu Ye waited anxiously.

"Message passed! The interview is from Suval!"

A huge white vortex suddenly appeared in the darkness in front of the spaceship. It was the portal to the ruins of the refugee camp. In contrast to the darkness, the portal looked extremely huge. The magnificent scene stunned Lu Ye.

The spaceship then slowly passed through the portal and entered the warp tunnel. About two minutes later, the other end of the portal appeared in front of him. He could clearly see the bright daylight inside, and the prosperous city gradually appeared in front of Lu Ye.

Seeing the bustling scenery in front of him, Lu Ye felt confused. He could not understand why this city was called ruins.

The spaceship landed at the designated location. Lu Ye had just walked out of the hatch when he realized that there was already a row of guards standing outside, pointing guns at him.

"I was entrusted by Suval's City Lord. I have no ill intentions!”Lu Ye hurriedly raised his hands and explained.

"Take him away!"

Lu Ye was brought to the interrogation room.

"You mean Suval has fallen?" The interrogators didn't seem to believe him, because when Ruins was checking his identity, there was no record of Lu Ye on Suval's list.

Lu Ye nodded and told him everything he knew.

The inquisitor looked at Lu Ye doubtfully. Lu Ye had no choice but to take out the crescent stone again and said,"This was given to me by the City Lord. At the last moment of his life, he entrusted me to come here. You can not believe me, but please believe him.”

The inquisitor looked at the token in his hand. After half a minute of silence, he seemed to have made up his mind. He turned to the person behind him and said,"Regardless of whether this matter is true or false, report it to the higher-ups first and let them decide.”

The person behind him nodded and left the interrogation room.

" You stay here until we get the notice. I'll ask them to be more polite to you," the interrogation officer said.

After hearing the news of Suval's fall, the lord of the ruins, Karet, was shocked. However, when he thought about the recent movements of the Empire, there was indeed sufficient reason to believe it.

"Contact the other cities and hold an emergency meeting in seven days!”Carlett ordered.

As the base camp of the exiles, the Ruins was also the leader of the six cities. All decisions regarding the exiles had to be jointly decided by the six city lords.

After receiving the notice of the emergency meeting, the other City Lords immediately set off for the ruins.

At the meeting, Karet's expression was solemn. Everyone looked at Suval's empty seat and seemed to have expected something.

"Bring him in!" said Carlett.

Lu Ye was brought to the meeting, and Karet asked him to repeat what happened that night. Lu Ye thought for a while and began to recall the tragic scene at that time.

Everyone listened in silence, as if the artillery fire from that night was burning again.

After Lu Ye finished his speech, Klett clenched his fist and knocked on the table."Let us mourn for the death of Suval's City Lord, Cullen, and the citizens!”

Only then did Lu Ye know that Suval's city lord's name was Curran. He and Kallett lowered their heads together, reminiscing in silence.

"I don't believe it!" Someone's protest broke the silence.

Black Sun City's Bolanken suddenly stood up, pointing at Lu Ye and asked: "Why should we believe him? Trust a person of unknown origin?"

Everyone's gaze fell on Lu Ye.

"Ke Lun's token can prove his identity!”said Carlett.

"What if Curran was forced to hand over the token?”Branken left his seat and walked to Lu Ye's side, saying,""He said that not long after he arrived in Suval, something happened to Suval! Doesn't this make us suspicious? He was the one who leaked Suval's coordinates?”

Lu Ye did not expect that he would be suspected again. He was speechless for a moment and did not know how to defend himself.

"Think about it! An unknown person appeared in Suval, and Suval fell! Can you say that it's not related?" Branken continued to ask.

Hearing Branken's words, everyone started whispering.

Carlett patted the table to signal for everyone to be quiet. Then he asked Lu Ye,""Before you arrive in Suval, do you have anything to say about your identity?”

Lu Ye could only tell her everything that had happened to him.

"Nonsense!" Branken said.

Naturally, everyone could not believe the colorful new world that Lu Ye spoke of.

" Everything I said is true…" Lu Ye muttered. No matter how much he explained, no one was willing to believe him.

"If he's the culprit behind Suval's fall, then staying here is a hidden danger to the ruins. How do you think we should deal with him?”asked Carlett.

"Killing him would be too easy on him!”Jones, the mayor of Dapo City, said.

"Then what do you think we should do?" asked Carlett.

Jones looked at Lu Ye and said slowly,""It has been a long time since the prison in Dapo City has had visitors. Why don't you hand him over to me?”

Everyone looked at Jones. Anyway, Lu Ye was a hot potato now. It was naturally a good thing to have someone to help solve it. Therefore, they were silent and did not say anything more.

"Then it seems that everyone has tacitly agreed to Jones 'suggestion!”said Carlett.

With Lu Ye's feeble explanation, the meeting of the exiles ended, and he was tied up and sent to the spaceship to Dapo City.

Tuyi, the capital of the Empire.

Mr. A looked at the document that had just been submitted. It reported that another base had been destroyed.

"Cyborg army?" Mr. A muttered to himself.

Travers was sitting next to him. When he saw Mr. A frowning, he threatened,"It's just a few cyborgs. What can they do?”

Mr. A shook his head and took out a map from the bottom of the document. On it were all the sections controlled by the Empire. A small part of them had been marked with a cross. He said,"This is not something we can ignore.”

Travers nodded in agreement, but he still did not think much of it. With the current strength of the Empire, what was there to worry about? It would be good if he could take back the territory that had been taken away.

Cyborg army stronghold.

Terry came to the laboratory. The cyborgs bowed respectfully when they saw him.

"No need to be so polite!" Terry nodded.

He walked in front of the cyborgs who were about to carry out the experiment, picked up a tube of virus, and said,""If we don't want to be bullied by humans, then we have to become stronger!”

Under Terry's encouragement, the weak cyborg walked into the experimental instrument with his head held high. It seemed that as long as the machine was activated, it would become powerful enough.

As the experiment ended, only one cyborg walked out of the device. He no longer looked weak, and his entire body was emitting strength.

Terry clapped in satisfaction, and the others also clapped to celebrate the rebirth of the cyborg.

"Those failed compatriots will not die just like that. They will fuse with me and continue to witness the glorious future of the cyborgs!”Terry said as he absorbed all the remaining broken cyborgs in the device.
