Bangs was shocked as he looked at the giant in front of him.

"You're the student that the principal instructed, right? You're indeed very poor.”said the giant, looking at Bunce with his beetle-like eyes.

"You're Hagrid? Rubeus Hagrid?" Bang Si shouted excitedly.

"How do you know me? Have we met before? Or are we too famous?" said Hagrid warily.

"It's nothing. I was too excited. You're indeed very famous, but you just didn't realize it.”Bangs said.

"Alright, let's get down to business. This bag contains your relief fund, the letter, I believe you have read it.”said Hagrid.

"Yeah, I thought it was just a joke.”Bangs said embarrassedly.

"Do you have anything else to prepare? I still have to take you shopping today.”Hagrid said expectantly.

"There's nothing to prepare. Let's go.”Bance said decisively.

"Then, let's go." said Hagrid as he got up and headed out of the room.

Bangs 'full name was Bangs Foley, and he wasn't from this world. To put it in another way, he was a transmigrator. Unfortunately, the person he transmigrated to was very poor. Even the rent was a few months in arrears. If it wasn't for the kind landlady seeing that he was still young, she would have kicked him out long ago. He had thought that he would live this life in poverty, but a letter from the Magic World changed him. He had always loved watching the complete Harry Potter series. To him, everything was so unexpected.

They arrived at the station. There was a train to London in ten minutes. Hagrid said he wouldn't use Muggle money, so he stuffed a wad of cash into Bunce's hand and told him to buy a bus ticket.

Hagrid occupied two seats on the train and was sewing what looked like a circus tent.

Bunce had never been to London before, past or present. Although Hagrid knew the way, it was obvious that he had not come here the normal way. He was stuck at the train ticket gate and said,""Damn it, I'm stuck by this thing again.”

"I really don't know how those Muggles live without magic.”Hagrid grumbled again as they climbed the escalator into the crowded street full of shops.

Hagrid was so tall and muscular that he had no trouble squeezing through the crowd, and Foley just had to keep close behind him. They passed bookstores, record stores, fast-food restaurants, cinemas, and Bunce knew they were almost there.

"This is it," said Hagrid, pausing."The Leaky Cauldron. This is a very famous place."

It was a small, dirty bar. Bunce might not have noticed it if Hagrid had not pointed it out. Pushing the door open, he walked in. A bar owner with almost all his hair falling off picked up a cup and said,"As usual, Hagrid?"

"No, Tom, I'm running errands for Hogwarts," Hagrid slapped the barkeeper's thin shoulder with his enormous hand, nearly crushing him.

"Come on, Bunce, there's still a lot to buy."

"See this trash can? "Three up-two down-" he repeated. "All right, stand back, Ben,"

He used the umbrella head to lightly knock on the broken wall three times.

The brick he had struck began to shake and move, and a small hole appeared in the middle of it, which grew larger and larger, and soon there was a wide archway wide enough for Hagrid to pass through, leading to a winding, endless cobblestone street.

"Welcome," said Hagrid."Welcome to Diagon Alley.”

Hagrid felt a little uncomfortable at Bunce's indifference. He strode forward, and Bangs could only quicken his pace to follow.

Hagrid pointed to Madam Malkin's robes shop as they passed, and said,"Let's go buy you a uniform first. Go in. I'm too big. I'll wait for you at the door.”

Madam Morkin was a short, plump witch, wearing a purple robe and a big smile.

"Hogwarts uniforms, dear?”Before Bunce could say anything, she said it. "Our prices are fair and affordable. Please follow me.”

Bangs followed Madam Morkin to the back of the shop, made him stand on a footstool, and put a robe over him, pinning it to his height. "Do you want a bigger one or one that fits?”Madam Mo Jin asked.

"A bigger one. I'm very poor." Bangs said embarrassedly.

"Have you bought it?" asked Hagrid.

"I bought it." Bangs replied. They stopped to buy parchment and quill pens. They passed a Flourish and Blotts and entered a shabby shop around the corner, full of junk. "Because you're on a school fund, you won't be able to afford new books unless you don't want your wand.”Hagrid explained.

The last store was small and run-down. It was probably comparable to the second-hand store just now. The golden signboard on the door had already peeled off. It read: Ollivander, made excellent wands since 382 B.C. A wand stood alone on a faded purple cushion in the dusty display window.

As they entered the shop, the tinkling of bells came from somewhere at the back of the shop. The shop was very small. Other than a bench, there was nothing else. Hagrid sat down on the bench and waited, while Bunce, with a curious look on his face, filled the long, narrow cardboard boxes almost to the ceiling. For some reason, the dust and silence here gave people a sense of mystery.

"Good afternoon." said a soft voice, startling Mr. Foley.

"Hello," said Bunce stiffly.

"Oh." said Mr. Ollivander, giving him a sharp look. "Alright, Mr. Foley, which hand are you used to?”He took out a long silver tape measure with a scale printed on it.

"I'm used to using my right hand." Bance said.

"Raise your arm. Okay." He size Bangs from his shoulder to his fingertips, from his wrist to his elbow, from his shoulder to the floor, from his knee to his armpit, and finally, the circumference of his head. "Every Ollivander wand contains a powerful magical substance. This is also the essence of it, Mr. Fry. I used unicorn fur, phoenix tail feathers, dragon nerves, and so on. Every Ollivander wand was unique, because no two wand-cores were exactly the same. Of course, if you used a wand that belonged to another wizard, it would never have such a good effect.”

"Alright." he said, and the tape fell to the ground and curled up. "Then, Mr. Foley, try this one made from a piece of mountain dregs wood and a snake's nerve. Eight and a half inches. Not bad, very sensitive. Try waving it."

Bunce took the wand and waved it at it, and Mr. Ollivander snatched it away at once.

"Mechanical wood, the nerves of a dragon. Nine inches long. It's elastic. Try it-"

Bunce was about to wave his wand when it was snatched away again.

"No, no-try this one, made of sandalwood and unicorn tail hair. Six inches long. It was very soft. Come on, try this one."

Bunce tried one after another. He had no idea how Mr. Ollivander could decide whether it was appropriate or not. More and more wands had been tried on the ground nearby. But the more wands Mr. Ollivander pulled from the shelves, the happier he seemed.

"Another picky customer? Never mind, I think, you can always find the most ideal, the most perfect, the most suitable for you-let me see-oh, there it is, mahogany, dragon nerves, ten and a quarter inches long. Not bad, very tough."

Bunce took the wand and was about to wave it when Mr. Ollivander snatched it away again. "How is that possible? You can't even find a suitable one. You're even stranger than the legendary Harry Potter. Let me think, let me think.”Ollivander said thoughtfully.

After a while, as though he had made up his mind, Mr. Ollivander turned and walked into the back room. Then, he came out with a dusty box and said,"This isn't mine, it's Gregorovitch's.”Then he opened the box and took out a wand."Elder, thestrals, nine inches long. It's very powerful. Try it."

Bunce took the wand and felt a sudden warmth at his fingertips. He gently waved his wand and felt the surroundings filled with vigorous power. Hagrid was stunned. Ollivander stared back at him and said,"It's amazing, it's a very powerful wand. Listen, child, don't let your strength control your heart. Remember, people cannot be manipulated by tools.”

Bangs felt a chill run down his spine. He wasn't sure if he liked this Mr. Ollivander. He paid Ollivander nine Galleons for the wand, and Mr. Ollivander bowed them out of the shop.

The sun was almost setting when Bunce and Hagrid set off on their way back to Diagon Alley in the evening. They went through the wall and into the empty Leaky Cauldron. Hagrid said to the bar owner," Tom, this child will stay with you until September 1st. Help me take care of him."”Then to Bunce,"spend the rest of your time in the pub. Here's your ticket to Hogwarts, first of September-King's Cross-it's all on the ticket.”

"Please follow me, Mr. Foley." Tom said.

"Alright, thank you." Bangs said.
