Xiao Min tried harder to smile. "I think your date is going well.”

"Is it true that we met before? I work at the gym, hand it over to the old car wash in the back, and then he drives me home.”Yang Jiaqi told her to lie down on the bed, sit down and scratch Winston's ear.

"Sounds like your dream date, it has all your favorite activities.”Xiao Min told her.

Yang Jiaqi laughed. "Much prettier, yes."

Yang Jiaqi didn't mention the feelings she already felt strange towards him, and would rather let those feelings towards her until she figured them out.

"How is your date with Wei Ming?”Yang Jiaqi said.

" Very good," Xiao Min said with uncertainty. " Actually…that's why I'm called…"

"Did something happen? Did the two of you fight?" Yang Jiaqi said.

"Ah, no." Xiao Min lied. "I just can't hang out tomorrow. Wei Ming wants to go to the mall."

"Really? Did he break the plan to go shopping with me?”Yang Jiaqi asked, feeling hurt by the touch.

Xiao Min paused. "Don't get agitated."

"I'm not crazy." Yang Jiaqi said, her tone softening. "I'm just a little disappointed. I'm looking forward to hanging out and telling you everything about Luo Chong.”

Xiao Min smiled. "You can do that over the phone.”

"This is a better person." Yang Jiaqi answered, but she didn't care.

Not long after the two of them chatted until late at night, Xiao Min's parents returned. It was after noon and night when they ended their conversation.

"I love you." Yang Jiaqi said.

"I love you too." Xiao Min replied.

She hung up the phone, rolled over to her side, and fell asleep.

"I mean, why did you call me just to tell me that I don't have a job?”Yang Jiaqi asked, pestering him.

It had been three weeks since she had started applying for jobs, but no one had hired her. It was January. It was the holiday peak when people were temporarily hired after being laid off. Luo Chong and Yang Jiaqi had just found a person who worked at the front desk to interview at a local beer factory.

"They said they wanted to hire you.”Luo Chong reminded her. "They just won't have a place for you until spring.”

"Then why did you f * cking waste my time and call me down?”Yang Jiaqi exclaimed. "They told me over the phone!”

Luo Chong quieted down and looked at Yang Jiaqi expectantly. Her steel-like expression softened when she realized her misplaced frustration.

"I'm sorry." she said.

Luo Chong approached her. "Come on." he said as he gave her a hug.

Yang Jiaqi asked him to wrap his arms around her and take some comfort in his embrace. She was still burning with rage, her frustration making her irritable. The hug was like trying to keep the light in a jar. She pulled it back and began to pace again, her high heels clicking the linolin on the kitchen floor that she forgot to take off. Her worries troubled Luo Chong, and he wanted to help her. That was why he drove her in the interview in the first place.

Luo Chong couldn't precisely describe his relationship with Yang Jiaqi. They were dating and sorting things out. They would be content to work together and then have sex. They never had a real date, and it was not for lack of demand that Luo Chong was part of it. Yang Jiaqi seemed to be connected to their system. She kept trying to stop him. When they were together, funny, witty, sexy hell, she was great, but she didn't seem to want to go any further.

Yang Jiaqi was still trying to figure out what it was. She had never been so nervous before. She and Xiao Min had talked for a few hours before ending, but she was still frightened. Luo Chong remained patient, even though he was crazy for having the right to do so. She hid from him and did everything possible to arrange a date outside their usual gym to meet UPS, which only continued to stagnate. They had already stabilized. The sex was excellent, but there weren't many people. If he was forcing her to make a decision, then they knew they were standing there.

No matter what, Yang Jiaqi had to do it herself.

This was why they were the most important people today. She wanted to call him, but not Xiao Min or any of her friends who drove her to the interview. This was him. She turned around. Who was he? She thought he was the best person who could help her here. Luo Chong looked at her footsteps, her high heels clicking on the felt immediately. He realized his hesitation. He could relieve this pressure. In reality, this was a rather simple matter. Fletcher, his father can get her stuff, if he can't have it then build one of his friends/associates to own.

But he hesitated. Luo Chong hated favors, so he asked his father to ask him, using his influence. Yang Jiaqi might not like him either. She might see it because he doubted her ability, she got a job herself, or she might not like the feeling that she owed him a favor. However, seeing her heartbeat, it was obvious that she was worried and uneasy. Luo Chong decided that he had no choice but to try. If she was angry, would he bring it?

"How can I not have money to go to school?" Yang Jiaqi asked, not expecting an answer. " I can't keep asking about my dad's money. My mom…"

"I can give you a job." Luo Chong told her.

Yang Jiaqi blinked and stopped in the middle of the sentence. It was her first time, because they had already left through the door.

"What's wrong?" she asked, gazing at his hope.

"I…I know who someone might hire.”Luo Chong said. "If you give me a copy of your resume, I can give it to them.”

"Who is recruiting?" she asked.

"My father." He replied that the terrain would only lead to worse trouble in the future.

Yang Jiaqi hesitated for a moment, worried that Luo Chong might think that she was in her mind. She didn't like being lectured, but she was desperate. What would make Luo Chong think that if she took his offer, though? Would he feel that she owed him? Or perhaps, by doing so, they had already surpassed it to a certain extent? No, that was not Luo Chong. She knew that he wasn't good enough, and she knew what he was thinking. He just saw that she was very unhappy and tried to help her.

"What kind of job would it be?”she asked. Her problem was more delay, and she brought his proposal through the thought of sorting.

This other component. Yang Jiaqi, like the children in the north, kept complaining that the children in the south had to work mainly because of their parents. Recently, she must have complained, not Luo Chong, but Xiao Min and her other friends definitely did. It would make her a hypocrite to use the same privileges after claiming that it was unfair when someone else had done the sorting.

"I really don't know." Luo Chong said. "Office cleaners? It wouldn't be particularly pleasant. These guys might keep harassing you.”

Luo Chong tried to make a bitter fruit that was hard to swallow. By making the potential job unpleasant, he hoped that Yang Jiaqi would not like him doing her a big favor.

"I can handle it." Yang Jiaqi said nonchalantly.

"Is this a guarantee?" He told her. "I just want to make sure your resume is in the right place.”

"Alright then." Yang Jiaqi said. "Thank you."

Just like how Yang Jiaqi, who was eavesdropping on her, needed a job. Sometimes it's not how hard you work, or how hard you work, you see, it's who you know. If she decided that she couldn't accept it and didn't accept the job, she would let Luo Chong try it. There shouldn't be any harm for her. She fumbled for an extra resume from her wallet and handed it to him. Luo Chong put it in his bag and stood awkwardly in the kitchen with them.

"Luo Chong, you might…I don't know, want to hang out somewhere outside the gym?”

Yang Jiaqi said.

Luo Chong grinned. " Yes, we're already at the Brewery."

Yang Jiaqi's face turned sour. "Yes, it's an interesting date.”

Luo Chong raised his eyebrows." Oh, so this is a date.”

"Yes." she replied with a smile.

"And then we'll get something to make a date?”he asked.

Yang Jiaqi's smile blossomed into a mischievous smile. "Maybe."

Luo Chong closed the distance between them and placed his hand on her shoulder. She was wearing her own clothes. During the interview, she wore a white top, a black knee-length skirt, black stockings, and a pair of high heels. She lifted her head to look at him. He was even wearing high heels. Her hair was fixed with a golden hair clip at the back of her head, which she had tried to complete with a professional look. Luo Chong didn't see her dressing. He usually saw her dressing up for work.

"Maybe I can help you prepare for your interview.”He suggested.

He caressed her neck, making her smile even wider.

"I'm sorry, sir, I really need this job. They're going to kick me out of cosmetology school if I can't pay my tuition.”Yang Jiaqi joked. "Damn it, I sound pitiful.”

"There's nothing pathetic about trying to get a job.”Luo Chong told her. Then in his best boss 'voice, he said,""No, Miss McClane, everyone has trouble finding a job. We just need to find the best person for the job.”

He brought his hand low and slid. Yang Jiaqi smiled at him and leaned forward, as if she didn't know his hand was there.

"What can I do to get a place, sir?”She said, joking in her most flirtatious tone.

Luo Chong smiled and stumbled back to his jeans. Then, there was a sound. The door opened. Luo Chongchao jumped onto his jeans and pulled them up crazily. Yang Jiaqi suddenly turned around, pulled her underwear, and smoothed her skirt.

"Yang Jiaqi?" Her stepmother, Lauren, said.

Luo Chongfei pulled him up and fastened his belt.

"Yes, we are here." Yang Jiaqi called back.

Luo Chong had just dropped his belt and put it back into the belt loop and fastened his shirt. His heart was hammered into Lauren's kitchen.

"Oh, hello." Lauren said. "That was your car parked outside.”

"Lao Lun, this is Luo Chong. Luo Chong, this is my stepmother, Lauren.”She told him.

"Nice to meet you, Madam." Luo Chong said. Madam? Luo Chong thought to himself. Where did it come from?

He resumed his father's style of politeness. Born and bred in this privileged man had a few old-fashioned manners, which he passed on to his son.

"Lauren will be fined." She told him that she was kind.

Luo Chong moved uncomfortably." Youmi." He grabbed himself." LaoLun." He was done.

"I didn't know you had a company." "Yang Jiaqi," said Lauren.

"Oh, Luo Chong just deleted me from my interview at the Brewery.”Yang Jiaqi explained.
